Hey!  What an awful trick those guys in Mr. Duersch's class played on poor Rory... I was there, and was Pendleton HOT!  Aaaaa...did anyone ever figure out who was throwin' quarters down on the stage during the Modern Dance Assembly and Middleton send the WHOLE dang assembly back to class? (heh heh..) Hoodlums, I'm tellin' ya...hoodlums....

To all you Eagles that did not fly back to the nest.......you missed a great party!!!  Thanks to everyone that had a part in planning the reunion....and thank you.. Rory.. for making us laugh!!  I haven't laughed so hard for a long time and it really did feel good.  I hope that everyone that didn't make it to the reunion will start saving your pocket change so that you can attend the reunion in 2014!  Also, don't forget to keep this web page going....they say that it will be up for 10 years.....so everyone...keep in touch!!!

It was great to see you all at the 40th reunion. Some of you I was lucky enough to go from 1st grade through graduation in 1969. There were some great  times in all those years together and great memories. I'm sorry I didn't get so see everyone because of time constraints. Good luck and great health to all.

It has been so fun to return to memories of the youth that I refuse to let go of. Have a great reunion, I'm so sad that I will not be there to enjoy it with all of you.

I just posted a message but the "G" was either cut off of my first name...or I just fat fingured my typing of it! In any even, it's "Greg Jones", not "reg Jones"!

Though I moved from Salt Lake in August, 1967 and so totally missed being going to Skyline, I have many fond memories of Eastside & Oakridge Elementary Schools, and Wasatch & Churchill Junior Highs.

I was a pleaasnt scroll down memory lane as I looked at the senior class pictures on line and some of the comments recently posted.

I was sadden to see some of my close freinds from those days in the Memoriam, though.

Have a fun reunion for all!

Hey, Rory, I'll be there!  Does it count for your old girlfriend from ninth grade seminary?!? (well, maybe not that far, I'm reaching!)

I'm excited to see everyone!  Thanks for all your work organizing, guys!    (should I wear my Pep Club uniform?  JK; those 'Miss Wonderfuls' are long gone!)  See y'all soon!    Janee Gillette

I am so very excited to see you all.

My husband is putting the finishing touches on our '65 Chevy truck...this reunion has been the best incentive to get the restoration completed!

See you soon!!

Wahoo!  A reunion with old friends and great memories.  I really think we need to have Sat. afternoon access to Skyline to walk the halls and reminisce.  Anyone remember your locker combo???  Oh yeah . . . there was one locker I always wanted to decorate before the football games but I never had the chance to do it cuz some other fellow pep-club member got the name instead of me.  Wait . . . um . . . I forgot . . . Rory wasn't ON the team . . .

Greetings all!  . . .  from long ago and far away  . . .  am wrestling with a conflict that may prevent my attending the Reunion  . . .  but we'll see.  Sounds like it should be fun!

The Photo Album just blew me away (though there seem to be some gaps in the photographic record).  I hope to make it to Salt Lake for the party, since the last time I saw just about anyone was at #20.  Luckily, Nancy Eckels found me in Texas, or was it Arkansas?

I can't believe that I actually recognize some of these names!  It feels just like 1969.  How well I remember marching on the field on the University of Utah football field as our team took the State Championship!  This reunion sounds like the place to be!

I can't believe it has been 40 years.  Time sure flies.  I would love to come and see everyone but it all depends on plans we have to go back to California to some baseball games with our kids and grandkids.  I will commit as soon as I know.  It will be exciting to catch up and sounds like a lot of fun.  Great job on the web site....

This website is a great idea. Thanks to everyone who has worked so hard to make it happen. One of my most unforgettable memories of our Skyline days is the famously leaky roof. When we returned for our twentieth class reunion, the all too familiar buckets greeted us, still catching rain in the hall. I also vividly remember coming to school in brush rollers (how did we manage without blow dryers and round brushes) for early morning Pep Club practices. What an exciting time it was to cheer for our football state champs!

Why do we return in our hearts and  minds to the halls of Skyline so often?...because that was where we grew up together and learned some of llife's best lessons from some of the finest friends in life.
I am so anxious to reunite with all of you.

This is exciting!  We hope we will be able to come.
I left Skyine in 1968 to move to Provo when my Mom remarried, by Skyline has always been in my heart.  It will be fun to revisit everyone after so many years!

I don't know why I am taking the time to write in this space, I'm not even the Rory Aplanalp that graduated 40 years ago.  Imagine that, a person with the same last name. I'm still waiting for my invitation to the 10 year reunion. Should be getting that any time now.  I may attend just to see what people that went to school with my grandparents look like!

Trying to attend the reunion..but "we" have to travel from Maryland; so I need all of the particuliars, if any,  on suggested places to stay, etc.  I haven't been back to Ut in over 25 years... perhaps more.  traveled the world w/ the US Navy, retired, still travel.. 2 kids grown up and out of house (YES!) Wife and I work for Govt in Md 60 Miles from DC.  Most of my family is scattered, Calif, Colorado, Arkansas.  Mostly stay on East Coast, but travel (vacation) all over it; except for Sturgus, Daytona and Myrtle Beach M/C rallies.  Motorcycling is our "hobbie" and we travel on/with it.
