After high school I graduated from BYU in Elementary Education and Children's Literature. I married Dale Ottley, class of 68 and we have six children (1 boy and 5 girls, including a set of twin girls). Also joining our group, we now have one daughter-in-law, three son-in-laws, and eight grandchildren and counting, ranging in ages 2-11 (4 girls, 4 boys). Needless to say, my incredibly patient husband, who has been surrounded by emotional estrogen over the years, was happy to see a few little boys added to our noisy bunch! When we reminisce about high school our kids think it particularly strange that our cars were held prisoner in the school parking lot until someone unlocked the chains, considering they have all been able to come and go as they please. Amusingly, when I watched the movie Hairspray with my girls, the clothes and hair were all too familiar, realizing that was the way we actually looked!

I have been married 30+ years.   We have been blessed with 2 wonderful girls...Jennifer & Kathy.  My youngest is married...no grandkids yet....  We enjoy camping, hiking, fishing and gardening  in the summer....winter we enjoy snow shoeing and a little cross coutry skiing.  We love the Uintah Mountains and Moab.    Life is GOOD!  It has been fun to catch up with everyone on this web page.

I've moved around a lot. Lived in 5 different states and moved to Holland for three years.

Julie (Bauer, '70) and I married in 1973 and moved to the Tacoma, WA area in 1976.  We have two delightful adult children, both of whom are NOT living at home (at the moment.) I have been practicing health law for the second half of my law career, with fifteen years of trial practice to start.  Julie has a much more exciting job as Marketing and Communications Director for the Museum of Glass.  We're looking forward to seeing friends from Skyline.
