I cannot attend the reunion but will be with all of you in spirit.  I have been married for 38 years to Mark who is a former professional football player and currently a semi-retired general and flooring contractor; we have lived in St. Louis, MO since 1972.  We have three children and three grandchildren.  Erik (married to Wendy), 35, lives in Swansea, IL and is the father of our grandsons; Justin, 32, lives in St. Louis, and Emily, 26, is a childhood cancer survivor and a missionary nurse for Afica Inland Mission for the next year in Tanzania.
I work part-time for my husband and also in a tearoom close to home.  I enjoy volunteer work, spending time with my grandsons, sewing, and needlework.
Mark and I love to travel and plan to visit Emily in Africa this October.
I will be anxious to hear all about the reunion festivities!

Wow! I can't believe it's been 40 Years!! Life has been great. I have been married to the same wonderful guy for almost 37 years. We have five terrific daughters, four great son-in-laws, and nine grandchildren. I've survived cancer twice (thanks to Rich Irion), a doctorate, and the Jordan School District Split!!!

Missed my senior year at Skyline, (hence no "before" picture) - hey am I really the only one with gray hair after 40 years?) but I will always feel like Skyline was my high school with great friends and lots silly moments that I still laugh over when I get together with Mel, Sharon, Helen, Ginny, and Mike Tingey! Not to mention all our family parties include Noel and Susie. (Who, by the way are WAY nicer than I  judged them to be in high school.)  And what great memories!  I spent my senior year in Costa Rica, and then returned home to go to the U of U. I married a fellow Skyline graduate of 1967 Rock Ballstaedt and we have just celebrated our 38th anniversary.  All 8 of our children are out of the nest, whew! (well, if you don't count the occasional fly-backs) and we are expecting our 23rd grandchild soon.  (I hope someone else is having the boys cuz we are getting a lot of grand-girls.)  For the last 3 years we have been serving a part-time Inner City mission where we have responsibility over the missionaries in 64 Spanish wards/branches to place welfare resources. Keeps us busier than we expected. Thanks to Rich for all the hard work on the reunion!
