40 years is a long time ago. Where did the thin youthful body go?  I just hope we don't all sit around and talk about our weight, lose of hair and aches and pians, or I am not coming. I want to talk about the great days we spent at Skyline! Okay, we can brag about our grandchildren.

Hope to see you there!

From Kris:

I can't believe how quickly these past 40 years have flown by .... our oldest daughter is preparing for her 20th class reunion from Jordan High this summer and our youngest daughter is soon returning from serving a mission to Taiwan! Life has been so wonderful, I'm married to the love of my life and we have been so blessed with 9 awesome children (who would have ever guessed that one 40 years ago?) and so far, 14 beautiful grandchildren and still counting. We have lived in Washington state for the past 19 years where my husband works for Boeing and I have had the great blessing of being a full-time stay at home mom and grandma. We love to travel, via picking our children up after they have completed serving missions in California, Russia, France, Belgium, Mexico and Taiwan. We hope to be able to make it for the reunion. Hope to see you then!

From Mary Ann:

Greetings everyone!  I hope this reunion time finds you well and happy.  For an update on myself: following graduation from skyline, I attended the U of U for 3 years and then left to serve an LDS Mission to Brazil.  It was a "life-changing" experience for me and influenced the decisions I made thereafter.
Following my mission, I finished my college degree at BYU and there met my husband, Rex Franson.  From Provo we moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan for Rex to do Graduate School at the University of Michigan.  We are still "Wolverine" fans first, BYU "Cougar" fans second.
Our first "real" job opportunity connected us with the Auto Industry in Detroit and we remained in Michigan for 21 years.  Rex finished there as a V.P. for one of the three U.S. Automakers.  Fortunately, that period of time was very good for the automakers in contrast to the events of the last several months.  We returned to Utah ten years ago and now live in Provo.  We feel we have come "full-circle".
We have five chidren and five grandchildren.  Our two youngest children are adopted and are African-American.  We adopted them at birth and they have been a wonderful addition to our family.
Who would have known, 40 years ago, the myriad of experiences, wonderful and difficult, that awaited each one of us.  It is really quite something to look back.  Thank you for the fond memories I have of you and Skyline.  I send my love and best wishes to each of you.

Mary Ann (Johnson) Franson

I've been living in Hawaii for the last 35 years and I'm still loving it!  I'm recently remarried and have a combined total of 14 kids (5 boys are mine and 9 are hers) and 14 grandkids!  Can't wait to see everyone!

From Janee:
What a great life!!  So sad to see so many gone, though!!
Have raised six wonderful kids--oldest teaching at the U; youngest in Argentina, and everywhere in between.
After living in Utah mostly and Hawaii a short time, ended up divorced, started a masters at the U, then headed off for my medical school program out of state.  LOVING what I do (Urgent Care/Family Practice)...though also exhausting.
Frequent escapes climbing in the Andes, med conf in the Carribbean (whenever I can), rock climbing, backpacking in the Wind Rivers, mtn biking, taking grandkids on all the outdoor adventures I can!
Can't wait to catch up with all of you. See y'all soon!

ADDEN:  SOOO GOOD to see everyone.  You all look so great; such love and caring.  Great reunion, everyone!
Now let's all be sure to do all we can to make sure we're at the next one...five years.  Wear your seatbelts; exercise; get your colonoscopy...THIS MEANS YOU!  (he-he; had to add that one...but I'm not kidding!)  Take care, good people!
