Why do our minds return so often to the halls of Skyline and those we walked with?  Because we grew up together and learned some of life's best lessons together and knit our hearts together forever....I can't wait to see you all again at the reunion!!!

38 years ago I left the beautiful mountains of Utah and came to a desert in Washinton State with no mountains for 100 miles.  The sky is huge.  But over the years I have discovered that beauty lies in many places and this is home.  I have a great husband and 4 great kids and 9 of the greatest grandkids.  I discovered that the greatest work I have done I have done within my home.  I loved being a mom and I love even more being a grandma. LIFE IS GOOd!

So, I'm getting my nails done, and sitting next to me is a lady who looks very familiar. She was none other than Diane (Rodgers) Sorensen, the Eagle finder. I'm so glad she found me and told me about this web-site. I've had a blast the past hour strolling down memory lane. I can't wait for the reunion. Let's all be sure to wear name tags.

From David:
I started in your class, but graduated a year earlier -- 1968. Couldn't find info on my 40th reunion, but an old friend told me about this one. We're still figuring out whether we can make it.

My wife (2nd temple marriage) came with 5 children to add to the 2 from my first marriage. We added 2 to make 9; 7 of them are now married, with 14 grandchildren so far. Besides a few stops in Utah, I've lived in Texas, California, Missouri, Michigan, Vermont and Florida.

I graduated from U of U, served LDS mission in Austria after a short stint in the Air Force. I work for the State of Missouri (my 13th actuarial job, long story). I'm also in a barbershop chorus which performs about once a month.
